September 11 (9/11) Memorial
The attacks on America on September 11, 2001 were aimed at the most prolific examples of our culture, values and being. The day itself
will be hard to forget for millions. It was a sunny, clear, crisp morning when Islamic terrorists took the lives of thousands of
innocent souls - many of whom died a gruesome death.
Terrorism has become a threat to all democratic governments. These democratic governments are accustomed to
dealing within a legal structure, often find it difficult to deal with criminals and terrorists that routinely operate outside of
the law. However, deterrence is just as much a part of justice as proper enforcement of the laws. Democratic governments that do
not deter criminals inevitably spawn vigilantism as normally law-abiding citizens who have lost confidence in the criminal justice
system take the law into their own hands. A similar backlash is beginning to emerge as a result of the inability of western
democracies to defend themselves against terrorists.
There are many countries who have shown absolute disregard to human life and continue to actively support terrorism. Countries like
Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran,
Syria, North Korea, and others may give the appearance of feeling our pain, but it is quite clear that many countries
and societies are very pleased to see the United States and any other democracy suffer. People often wonder why the Middle Eastern
governments don't prosecute these terrorists? It’s simple, because the terrorists often carry out the policies and desires of such
host governments. If terrorism is how the suffering is inflicted, so be it. We as a world wide society must take a stand against
these real rogue states.
We as Americans need to wake up and realize that there are a lot of bad people in this world who would like nothing better than to
see us destroyed. International terrorism won't be stopped by the fact that we have two oceans protecting us, instead they will use our own
liberties in formenting our downfall. We must stop them! Our liberties are sacred and we as a country can fight back with the help of
other peace loving nations rid of world of terrorism. Many experts believe that Americans need to be prepared for the worse, as
it is not beyond the realm of possibility that we may be hit by more terrorist attacks. Further more, the Islamists are already plotting
to destroy our economy by hiking the price of oil and undermining the fiat currency systems with an Islamic
Gold Dinar.
Osama Bin Laden and his cronies have been known to be seeking dirty bombs, nuclear and WMD weapons of some sort that would make
9/11 seem like a minor accident. For years the terrorists have spoken openly about a final, devastating attack that would
“paralyze” the United States. All citizens should take the time and effort to prepare themselves for this very scary and serious
possibility. Proper knowledge of nuclear and WMD survival, a stock of
potassium iodide, protective gear like
gas masks,
and some basic survival skills are absolutely necessary.
We have to make sure that the events of 9/11 are neither forgotten, nor repeated - EVER.
